Our Mission

Chubby Goat Acres is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit farm sanctuary in Southwestern Michigan. Our purpose is to protect domestic and farmed animals from neglect, abuse, or other cruelty and to inspire change in the way society views and treat these animals. While we do have permanent residents, we also aid in finding responsible homes for adoptable animals and provide transportation and assistance to re-home neglected, abandoned, or at risk animals. We believe that every animal deserves to have a life free of pain, fear, and suffering.
